Fees and what a booking costs
What advertisers pay on top of the space price, and why space owners pay nothing.
Every cost is shown at checkout before a request is sent. Together they make up the booking total.
Advertisers pay
- The space owner's price for the dates.
- Our booking fee: 12% of the space price.
- Card processing: 3% of the booking total before tax.
- Production, if our production team makes the ad: the cost of making and delivering it, plus our 20% margin. You can supply your own ad instead.
- Optional cancellation cover: 6% of the booking total.
- Optional watermark removal: 2% for printed ads, 1% for screens.
Tax is added where it applies. A booking keeps the rates it was requested under.
Space owners pay nothing
Putting a space on Ad in Space is free and there is no commission: you receive the full price you set. See Payouts.
