What is Ad in Space?
An app that lets businesses book advertising space at other businesses, such as a café window, a gym wall or a shop counter. We arrange printing and delivery, and the space owner puts the ad up.
Who can use it?
Any business, anywhere spaces are listed. One account can both book space and list space, and one login can run several businesses.
How much does it cost?
Listing space is free. Advertisers pay the space owner's price plus a 12% booking fee and 3% card processing, and production if we make the ad. See Pricing.
When am I charged?
Only when the space owner approves your request. Sending a request is free.
Can I list without the app?
Yes. Open adinspace.com/list on your phone: your number, a photo and a price, and the listing is live in about two minutes. You need the app to approve bookings; that is also where you verify your space, once.
What is the Ad in Space sticker?
A small round sticker with a QR code. Scanned before the owner has listed, it asks them to list the space in two minutes. Once the owner links it to their listing in the app, scanning it opens that listing, ready to book. Owners can also print an "Advertise here" sign from the app.
How long is a booking?
Spaces are booked in blocks of 4 weeks. Start dates are at least 10 days away, so the ad can be made and delivered.
Do I need my own ad?
No. You can upload your own design, design one with the AI ad maker in the app, or start from a template. Our production team prints it and sends it to the space owner.
How do I know my ad is up?
The space owner sends install photos when it goes up. During the booking you can ask for a new photo once every 7 days.
What if I need to cancel?
Before the space owner approves, there is no charge. After that, you get a refund of the booking total less the booking fee, until production starts. With cancellation cover (6%), you can cancel any time before the start date. The full rules are in the Terms of Service.
What if the space owner cancels?
You receive a full refund of the booking total, and we offer you a similar space nearby that can use the same ad.
How are space owners paid?
By bank transfer through Wise, 3 days after each booking ends. Space owners receive their full price.
How are spaces verified?
Before approving their first booking, each space owner films their space in the app with the phone's location, and saves a card. Our team reviews every video. Until then, their listings are marked "Business unverified" and nobody is charged for them.
What happens to the ad afterwards?
The advertiser chooses when booking: the space owner recycles it, keeps it for a later booking, or the advertiser collects it by courier.
What ads are not allowed?
Anything illegal, misleading, hateful or adult, or artwork you do not have the right to use. Space owners can decline any request, and anyone can report a listing.
Is my information shared?
Other users see your business name, address, opening hours and ratings. They never see your name, phone number or email address. See our Privacy Policy.
